Brian H. Weisman, President


Brian has been a professional money manager since 1993. Serving as editor of The Stockboy, a quarterly investment newsletter started in 1990, he has gained a national reputation among fund managers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan, and a Masters of Science in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.

Brian is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Brian serves on the Board of directors for a variety of nonprofit local organizations, including Ann Arbor Hospice and the Ann Arbor Homeless Shelter. He served as treasurer for the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority before acting as Chair for two years.

Brian is a MENSA member, a black belt in Karate, a gardener and a golfer, has run marathons, and is an ever-busy Dad.



Molly Mysliwiec


Molly graduated with a BSBA from Aquinas College in 2009 and started at Columbia in 2010 after interning here in 2008. Before coming on board with Columbia, she worked as a supervisor in a AAA five-diamond awarded restaurant in Grand Rapids, MI. Serving as a Girls on the Run coach, Molly is a marathon participant and enjoys calligraphy and spending time with her Collie dog, Gus.



Christen Sando


Christen graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2006. Prior to moving to Ann Arbor in 2010 when she started at Columbia Asset Management, she worked as an account manager for an independent health management company in Indianapolis, IN. The state of Michigan has always been very special to Christen as she spent every summer up north with her family on Elk Lake in Elk Rapids, MI.



Linda Brown, Portfolio Manager


Linda was born and raised in Sweden where she received an associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering prior to moving to Ann Arbor in 1996. She worked for a manufacturing firm in Saline, MI as a design engineer before redirecting her educational and career focus to Economics/Finance. Linda graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Economics, from the University of Michigan in 2003 and attended an MBA program in Orebro, Sweden in 2004. She came on board with Columbia Asset Management in 2005 and is currently working on her CFP designation. Personal interests include half marathons and cooking.



Sarah Mitchell-Yellin Fitzgibbon, Analyst


Sarah graduated from the University of Michigan and is seeking an MBA from the University of Colorado.
